It’s time to find safety and joy in yourself and your relationships again.

Meet Amy

Amy Cronin LCMHC

Its hard to remember a time when fear and self-doubt weren’t always getting in your way. You’ve come to the right place to develop tools to break free from these stuck feelings.

I’m Amy and I help adult women and gender expansive individuals who are navigating experiences of anxiety, people pleasing, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, belonging, and self-worth. In my experience, I have seen that change happens through compassion, trust, and collaboration. These tenets guide my work, and they foster connection, self-awareness, and self-empowerment. I approach my work with my whole self, bringing humor and warmth to my practice.

I help my clients to find happiness and security by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves and the people around them. Many of todays solutions for anxiety can feel clinical, sterile, and one size fits all leading so many to feel even more isolated and misunderstood. I know that your experience is unique so I invest time in deeply understanding your individual experience.

First we will identify your goals as well as the patterns of thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that are getting in the way and leaving you to feel stuck, frustrated, anxious and overwhelmed. Then we work on developing understanding, compassion, or alternative tools that will be most effective for you. Through our work together you will be equipped with the skills and confidence you need to feel capable and in control again.

I am dedicated to helping people find peace and experience change

My training in anxiety and attachment means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing your relationships with others as well as within. But at the end of the day you want to know you are working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a caretaking over-thinker struggling with anxiety.

I get it because I have lived it myself. I know that in a world where depending on your gender identity you have very specific messages of how you are allowed to feel, what you are allowed to talk about, or how much you are allowed to need. I have also felt trapped by worries, afraid of being “too much” and doubted that things could be different. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
